Alec is a software engineer at Apple working on CloudKit, a managed cloud database. He is one of the contributors to the FoundationDB Record Layer, an open source library which provides roughly relational semantics on top of the FoundationDB key-value store. He has spoken about FoundationDB data modeling at last year's FoundationDB summit.
